A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work of this Contract generally includes removing the existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and replacing these systems with new HVAC systems. Additonal Description: PRE BID QUALIFICATION: Only Bidders that have been pre qualified by the Owner can be listed as the Prime Contractor in the Bidding and Contract Documents. It is mandatory that all contractors who intend to be listed: (a) fully complete the Prequalification Information Request; and (b) be approved by GBMSD in order to be on the final qualified bidders list. Bidders shall use the Prequalification Information Request form provided with the Bidding Document sets. This Prequalification Information Request is exclusive to this 2022 HVAC Improvements project. Prequalification for this project does not imply that the contractor will be prequalified for other current or future GBMSD projects. Prequalification forms submitted by applicants are not public records and are not open to public inspection. All information provided will be kept confidential to the extent permitted by law. However, the contents may be disclosed to third parties for the purpose of verification or subsequent investigations. Prequalification Information Requests must be received by 11 A.M. local time, on June 14, 2022. Documents shall be directed to GBMSD securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, "PREQUALIFICATION INFORMATION REQUEST FOR GREEN BAY FACILITY 2022 HVAC IMPROVEMENTS" and addressed to Robert Brown, Staff Engineer, at GBMSD, 2231 North Quincy Street, Green Bay, WI 54302. Forms received after the specified time will not be considered. Each Applicant submitting a Prequalification Information Request will be notified individually of their prequalification status by June 17, 2022. LEGAL PROVISIONS: The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 60.77, 66.0901, and 779.15 of the Wisconsin statutes. WAGE RATES: Prevailing wage rates are not required for this Project. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Any contract(s) awarded under this Official Notice to Bidders should make positive efforts to utilize small and minority owned businesses. GBMSD encourages MBEs, WBEs, and DBEs to submit bid proposals. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price. BID REJECTION/ACCEPTANCE: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serves the interests of the Owner. BID WITHDRAWAL: No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 115 days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of Owner.
