The Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) is accepting statements of qualification for a qualified design-build team to provide comprehensive design and construction services for the development of shoreline erosion control measures for the "Penniman Spit Living Shoreline Project" located at Penniman Spit on the York River between the Naval Weapon Stations Yorktown and Cheatam Annex. The control measures include rock breakwaters, sills, and spurs, sand fill, and planting of coastal wetland plants. To access the RFQ (at no cost) please click on the link.
