Purpose of Procurement The University of Georgia (hereinafter, the State Entity) is soliciting statements of qualifications from suppliers interested in providing solid waste and recycling collection services for the University of Georgias Athens and Health Sciences campuses. This electronic Request for Qualified Contractors (eRFQC) is intended to identify one or more responsible suppliers who meet or exceed the identified requirements contained herein. This eRFQC will not result in a contract award. Instead, this eRFQC will establish a list of one or more qualified suppliers who will be eligible to participate to win future contracts from the State Entity. Qualified suppliers identified by this RFQC will be eligible to bid on a subsequent solicitation to contract for non-hazardous refuse collection of trash and recyclables in roll-off containers (compacting and non-compacting), rear-load 96-gallon roll carts, and/or lidded frontloading dumpsters for the Main Athens campus, Health Sciences campus, Veterinary Teaching Hospital, South Milledge area, Dining facilities, University Housing facilities, On-Campus Greek Housing facilities, and Athletic facilities. This work includes but is not limited to: Vendor will collect non-hazardous refuse/trash and recyclables in UGA-provided and maintained front-load collection dumpsters Vendor will provide additional collection services and/or containers as requested Vendor will provide special increased frequency and/or additional dumpsters for special events and residence hall Move- In/Move-Out periods
