Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Edgard, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
This project will consist of permanent repairs of storm related damages to the West St. John High School. These repairs consist of roof, interior and exterior repairs. The Contractor performing the work must be licensed with the State of Louisiana Licensing Board as a General Contractor. The Louisiana Contractors license for this project is BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. Bids received from Bidders without this license will be rejected. All work must be substantially complete by 45 days from the Notice to Proceed. Any Person Requiring Special Accommodations Shall Notify the Owner of the Type(S) of Accommodation Required Not Less Than Seven (7) Days Before the Bid Opening. A set of the plans can be reviewed only, upon request, at St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools, 118 West 10th Street, Reserve, LA 70084. All Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid and all Alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashiers check or a Bid Bond Form written by a surety company licensed to do business in Louisiana, signed by the suretys agency or attorney-in-fact as per the project specifications.
