The Martin County Fiscal Court is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide the following general solid waste collection and disposal services to residents of District 4 within Martin County from June 20, 2022, to March 31, 2024 at the rate of $14.95 per month per household. o Mandatory residential collection of solid waste from every household, as required by the Martin County Solid Waste Ordinance. o Landfill Disposal Service. Bids will be on two separate routes: Division 1 includes most of your Primary and/or Secondary roads in the community of Pilgrim, Division 2 includes most of your Primary and/or Secondary roads in the community of Lovely. This allows each Division to have an equal customer base per hauler. Division 1: Pigeon Roost Road, Emily Creek, N Wolf Creek (Pilgrim), S Wolf Creek, Meathouse Road, Little Rockcastle Road, Big Peter Cave Road, White Oak Road, Big Branch Division 2: Riverfront Road, Long Branch, Little Peter Cave Road, Buck Branch, N Wolf Creek (Lovely) *Note: The divider of the district garbage route would be located at Evans Farm Road off of N Wolf Creek. Consideration will be given to proposals to those who provide all services listed above. The contract will be awarded based upon factors reasonably related to the safe, trustworthy, efficient and economical collection, transfer and disposal of the solid waste generated in Martin County. The Martin County Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, negotiate final terms, scope of work and to award any contract to the Martin County Fiscal Court's sole discretion of the best public interest.
