Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Sheffield, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Bidder's name and address shall appear on the outside of the sealed bid and the Bidder's General Contractor's License shall be listed on the outside of the sealed bid. The City of Sheffield reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the information for bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the overall project including applicability of Section 3, minority/women-owned and small business employment opportunities. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
