Granite School District is requesting bid proposals from qualified Contractors to perform the following contracting services for a Capital Project. Since the GEC campus is the District's main office location, its buildings are in operation throughout the year. The existing cooling system will need to remain online during normal business hours during the cooling season. In order to meet the ongoing business needs of the District, the project will need to be completed in phases. CH-2 Installation - The Contractor is to install the new chiller CH-2 and related piping. The new chiller is to be fully operational and determined to accommodate campus cooling load prior to Phase II. Demolition of Existing CH-2 - This is the demolition and removal of the existing chiller CH-2 Phase II CH-1 Installation - Upon completion of Phase I work, the Contractor is to install the new chiller CH-1 as shown in the plans and specifications. Questions -All questions related to the project must be submitted electronically Dates of Construction & Damages - The anticipated start date of construction is June 21, 2022. Late Start Penalty - Granite School District will assess a $100, per calendar day, penalty for the late start of the project. The date of Substantial Completion is August 31, 2022.
