As of September 7, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work consists of evaluating and repairing the existing Trojan U.V. disinfection system at the Buford L. Bryant Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work shall be a complete finished installation including furnishing and installing all needed parts for a fully functioning ultraviolet light disinfection system. The contract work shall consist of the evaluation and repair of the existing U.V. system. Upon completion of the work, the contractor shall provide complete start-up testing of the system. The work and equipment shall conform to the original technical specifications, except as approved in writing by the Owner. A bid bond or certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount payable to The Utilities Board of the City of Bayou La Batre must accompany each bid. If a bid bond is provided, the form shall be that provided in the contract document booklet. Each bid must be submitted in its entirety in a sealed envelope and on the forms provided in the bid documents provided to the Bidder. (This shall mean the entire package provided to the Bidder.)
