Renovation of an educational facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Contractors must be qualified pursuant to NRS 338.1379 to bid on this project. The scope of work for this project is to replace the existing AHU-12 located within the mechanical mezzanine in the E wing of the College of Southern Nevada's North Las Vegas campus. An existing outside air louver is intended to be removed in order to facilitate the demolition of the existing AHU and installation of the scheduled AHU. The AHU is scheduled as 2 pieces to allow it to fit through the existing louver opening and structural bracing. The louver will be reinstalled within the existing location. To facilitate the scheduled AHU, the equipment pad will need to be extended and the hydronic piping serving the unit will be upsized for both the hot and chilled water supply and return (approximately 300'). This hydronic piping runs through both exposed and acoustic ceiling tile ceilings. The existing make up air fan adjacent to the AHU is to be replaced as well.
