Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Jerome, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project generally consists of constructing a new headworks building complete with new and refurbished screens and grit removal equipment, sitework, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, controls, and other items of miscellaneous work shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. Additive Bid Items No. 1 and No. 2 include a biotrickling filter odor control system and biotower covers, respectively. The City has entered into contracts with Smith & Loveless and Huber Technology, Inc. for the grit removal equipment and the fine screen equipment, respectively. The equipment prepurchase contracts will be assigned to the selected Bidder. Bids will be received for a single lump sum contract for the base bid and an additive lump sum price for each additive bid. The bids will be publicly opened and read at the City Council Chambers, 100 E. Ave. A, shortly after 2:00 p.m. LT. The Bidder shall guarantee Bid Pricing for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of proposal opening. The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles, and furnishing all labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and performing all work or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The Work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work in good faith shall be provided by the Contractor as though originally so indicated, at no increase in cost to the Owner. The Contractor shall provide all materials and equipment required for construction of the facility except for the materials and equipment provided by Owner as described in Appendix B and Appendix C.
