Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Brockton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
For 24-7 Caffrey Towers Community Room HVAC Upgrade - Project consists of but not limited to: Replacement of rooftop HVAC equipment, removal of unit vents and infill of openings at 24-7 Caffrey Towers. Work will be in occupied spaces. The work being HVAC it is anticipated that the HVAC Contractor will be the prime contractor. The work is estimated to cost approximately $120,000.00 Completion- 120 consecutive calendar days 1. Demolition of existing unit ventilators. 2. Demolition of existing rooftop mechanical units. 3. Infill of wall openings at demolished unit ventilators. 4. Installation of new HVAC rooftop units connected to existing ductwork and controls 5. Electrical and gas supply modifications and connections associated with new HVAC units. 6. Miscellaneous roofing, flashing, and sealants required for a weathertight installation on existing openings. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 149, 44A - J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. 149, 26 - 27H. Davis-Bacon Wages shall apply. General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) in the following category of work: Prime/HVAC.
