Scope of work consists of the following: a. Remove any and all office furniture prior to installation and return after installation completed. i. Contractor shall take all precautions necessary to protect all existing utilities, furniture, structures and all other properties. All damaged property shall be restored by the contractor to its original condition or better at no separate cost. b. Remove and dispose of approximately 2,012 square feet of existing carpet and 764 LF of 4" black cover base. c. Prepare existing sub-floor for new carpeting. i. Sub-floor preparation will include, as required, the repair of the existing floor surface. ii. Sub-floor preparation is to include all required work to prepare the existing floor for installation of the product as specified in this document. Sub-floor preparation shall meet all conditions as specified in the manufacturer's installation handbook instructions. Any door adjustments due to installation of new flooring will be included with this contract. d. Furnish & Install approximately 2,174 square feet of new carpet.
