Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Rehabilitation of the storm and sanitary sewers, watermains and road infrastructure on Breezehill Ave N between Gladstone & Somerset. Construction of a new 203mm dia. PVC watermain complete with new hydrants to meet current spacing standards from Somerset to Gladstone and a new 300mm dia. sanitary sewer and a 375mm/600mm storm sewer from Laurel to Gladstone. A short segment of 300mm dia. sanitary sewer near Somerset will also be replaced. Replace all water services and sewer laterals to the property line where mainline watermains and sewers are replaced. Reconstruct the road to 8.5m width, narrowing from the existing 10m, including new pavement structure, curbs, and catch basins. Replace the existing 1.5m wide sidewalks with new 2.0m wide sidewalks on both sides on the street, widening to 2.4m on the west side in front of the school and narrowing to 1.8m on the east side from Laurel to Gladstone for tree protection. Construction start: spring 2025 Construction completion: spring 2026 Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
