The system includes several consoles and elements that can be linked together via an Ethernet network. As the Grand Théâtre receives a wide variety of shows from the province, but also from all over the world, the system must be known and recognized by a majority of lighting designers in the performing arts and more specifically in the theatrical milieu. It must allow the control of motorized projectors, LED and traditional projectors, without however being limited to these functions and these luminaires. The user interface should be designed to allow intuitive and efficient use of control capabilities. The system is composed of several surfaces and control items. Each item must use the same control software. An "offline" version A first console, called the main console, is dedicated to the operation of the lighting from the lighting control cabin. This console will be used mainly for the operation of theatrical performances. A remote processor unit is also connected to it via the system's Ethernet network and serves mainly as a back-up system. A second console, called programming, is devoted to the programming of theater shows and can be installed at temporary control tables in the room.
