Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Fraser-Fort George G, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Replacement of the 18.5m long 1.8m diameter corrugated steel culvert with a new 22m long single span bridge, with deep prestressed twin cell concrete box stringers, precast concrete abutments founded on steel pipe piles and associated rip rap works; the design, construction, installation, and removal of a single lane detour; channel widening, rip rap protection on both creek banks and fish habitat enhancement works; construction of 0.2km of gravel surfaced roadway, culvert works, thrie beam barrier, fencing, signing, etc. The Site is located on Lake Creek Road approximately 2 km off of Highway 97, approximately 3 km south of Hixon, BC.
