The City of Shoreline (City), Washington is soliciting a statement of qualifications (SOQ) from individuals or firms interested in providing Construction Management Services for the 145th Street I-5 to Corliss Ave N Interchange and Pedestrian Improvements project The primary objectives of the Construction Management/Construction Administration consultant (CM/CA) are to provide project oversight, inspection services, plans, special and estimate (PS&E) review, and financial tracking of the 145th Street I-5 to Corliss Ave N Interchange Pedestrian Improvements project consistent with federal, state, and various local agency guidelines. The work to be performed by the consultant consists of: - Reviewing PS&E for constructability and completeness, assisting with bid document review and analysis, participating in certain project meetings, providing geometric survey control for the project and providing verification of contractor surveying - Observing and reporting on construction work in progress and monitoring adherence to the contract documents - Observing placement of materials - Measuring and computing pay items and preparing pay estimates - Reviewing contractor submittals - Sampling and testing materials - Providing special inspection services - Preparing documents and records to assure the project is constructed in accordance with Federal and State requirements - Provide final records and record drawings. - The selected firm may also be requested to coordinate/produce public information materials and respond to questions and concerns from the public, business or property owners. The total consulting budget for all construction management tasks is approximately $3,000,000 to $4,000,000 The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals at any time, without penalty.
