Site work and paving for a civil project in Brandon, Mississippi. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of July 20, 2022, the project has not awarded but will rebid in the future date. The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the reconstruction of Eastmark Dr. from Marquette Dr. to the KCS Railroad which may include removal of existing pavement, concrete pavement installation, storm drain installation, signing, striping and all other work shown in the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the INTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. No prospective CONTRACTOR may withdraw his proposal within SIXTY (60) DAYS after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bidder shall write the Certificate of Responsibility number and Mississippi Contractors License number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal. Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate, sealed and deposited with the City Clerk prior to the hour and date designated above. Bid Number 2022-11 should be marked in the lower left corner of the envelope. The Contract Time is Sixty (60) consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages being Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per calendar day thereafter. The CITY OF BRANDON reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities or to reject any or all bids.
