This contract must be carried out according to one or other of the following two (2) options: Option A: New modules The contractor must offer the installation of new modules for the development of 10 classrooms, a toilet block (Men and Women), service rooms (electrical entrance, concierge) and a multipurpose room. The Contractor must provide the plans for the construction of the modules, a plan which must be provided within 30 days of the awarding of the contract and which must be approved by the CSSDN. Option B: Used Modules The contractor must offer the installation of used modules for the development of 10 classrooms, a toilet block (Men and Women), service rooms (electrical entrance, concierge) and a multipurpose room. The Contractor must provide the plans for the construction of the modules, a plan which must be provided within 30 days of the awarding of the contract and which must be approved by the CSSDN. In addition to respecting all the conditions listed in the technical specifications, the bidder who submits a price for option B: Used modules must respect the following conditions: Modules must not be more than 5 years old. The modules must have been renovated within the last two (2) years (or will be renovated before the date of taking possession) The modules must be in a condition conducive to student learning throughout the duration of the rental. Price Requirements Bidders may submit a price for either option appearing on the Bid Form. The place of performance of the work is at the National Center for the Operation of Construction Machinery (CNCEC) located at 1050-55, chemin Belair Ouest, Levis (Quebec) G6Z 2L2. The complete installation of the modular units must be done no later than September 30, 2022 and will begin no earlier than June 27, 2022. Any submission received later will be automatically rejected. This public call for tenders is subject to the following intergovernmental agreements: ACCQO - Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario; AQNB - Agreement for the release of public markets in Quebec and New Brunswick; CFTA - Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
