No definite date for the rebid.** Plant #2 Removal and Disposal of Doors/Frames/Hardware Assemblies - Remove and dispose of double metal door/frame assemblies, closures, and hardware o Clean and prepare the existing openings for installation of new, unused properly sized thermal insulated double metal door/frame assembly, closures, and hardware Plant #3 Removal and Disposal of Doors/Frames/Hardware Assemblies - Infill with new wall of 12" thick CMU with insulating inserts. Provide #4 rods vertical @ 32" on center. Provide horizontal reinforcing rod @ 32" on center. Provide new (3) 4"X8" PCL with #4 bars top and bottom for new door and frame assembly, (allow min. 8" BRG. @ each end of PCL by CMU See specifications for additional information and bottom for new door and frame assembly, (allow min. 8" BRG. @ each end of PCL by CMU See specifications for additional information The selected bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit the bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be returned within three days after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractors Performance Bond, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays excluded. Sealed bids for this project are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with NJ.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq. All price quotations and contracts shall be subject to the provisions of P.L.1977, c.33 requiring submission of a statement of corporate ownership, the provisions of P.L.1975, c.127 concerning equal employment opportunity and affirmative action and the provisions of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 requiring New Jersey Business Registration and the collection of use taxes. This contract is subject to the provisions of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et. seq. Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of NJ.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and NJ.A.C. 17:27, Affirmative Action Regulations. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bid submittals in whole or in part, and to waive any immaterial defect or informality in any bid submittal or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of the Owner is the lowest responsible bidder as may be permitted by law. The Owner assumes no responsibilities for bid submittals forwarded by regular or overnight mail or misdirected in delivery. Late bid submittals will not be accepted or considered. A complete description of the goods and services to be provided, including furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the technical specifications herein.
