Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Maintenance work includes but is not limited to the repair of base course and wearing course due to potholes, replacement of failing concrete curbing, and incidental base repair related to pothole patching. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be sent in writing via email to Borough of Lewisburg in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid total. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date, with the right to extend the time to 120 days if additional time is required. The Lewisburg Borough reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough, and to reject any or all bids. The Work will be substantially completed within 30 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed; and completed and ready for final payment within 60 calendar days after the issuance of Notice of Proceed.
