It is understood and agreed that the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction" adopted 1/01/2012 and the "Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions", adopted 1/01/2012 prepared by the Department of Transportation, shall govern insofar as they may be applied and insofar as they do not conflict with the special provisions and supplemental specifications attached hereto. It is understood that the quantities listed are approximate only and they may be increased or decreased as needed to properly complete the improvements within its present limits, at the stated unit price. - Delivery in full or partial loads shall be delivered within the time frame specified in the special provision. Delivery on job site refers to any place or road that the awarding authority designates. - Materials shall be priced in a price per gallons method. - All bidders must supply proof of adequate liability insurance for a bid to be considered. - All bidders must conform to the State of Illinois Prevailing Wage requirements. - All bidders must supply a schedule of availability prior to being awarded a contract. The materials to be bid upon are: 36,000 gallons of HFRS-2 emulsion - Bidder must be able to arrive at jobsite no later than 5:30 am to begin loading distributor, and ready to spread oil by 6 am. - Bidder must have equipment capable of spreading 10 feet in one pass. - The winning bidder will not be allowed to charge demurrage. - Winning bidder will contact Highway Commissioner and schedule the dates. - Winning bidder must be able to bring partial loads as needed by the Township. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
