Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Tenders from (2022-07RFPQ) PRE-QUALIFIED PROPONENTS ONLY for the Klondike Park Road Well Site, Reservoir and Pumping Station. It involves the equipping of four (4) wells with submersible pumps and pitless adapters, connecting the wells to a new treatment, storage and pumping facility equipped with chemical systems for iron sequestering and disinfection by chlorination, two (2) chlorine contact chambers, one 4,366 m3 reinforced concrete reservoir, comprised of two (2) cells, and 32 m x 22 m building containing high lift pumping system comprised of five (5) canned vertical turbine pumps as well as associated electrical, instrumentation and control equipment, SCADA system and also includes a 1000 kW outdoor standby generator, yard piping and roadways. TIMELINE: The Invited tender to the prequalified firms was issued by the owner and closed fall 2022. Capital funding was not allocated in 2023 for this project and there was no award. The owner expects the prequalification will be reissued at such a time the project is identified to proceed based on capital funding approval. Further tender and construction timing is not expected within five years. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
