Metro is seeking bids from qualified and experienced firms to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the demolition and site restoration of six existing structures at Blue Lake Regional Park,including all excavation, demolition, utility work, and restoration of disturbed surfaces, completewith allwork incidental to, ornecessary for, satisfactory completion of the work shown in the attached construction documents and Supplemental Conditions (Attachments A and B Respectively). Work onsite may begin once all necessary permits, approvals and materials are in hand. The windowsavailable for work onsite is: o July 5, 2022 through September 2, 2022, and/or o September 6, 2022 through October 28, 2022 The work must be substantially complete by October 28, 2022. The sequence of work is the Contractor's discretion with the exception of the Lake House and Lake House Auxiliary Building. Demolition ofthese two structuresmust becompleted last in order to mitigate the spread of invasiveweeds from that site to other areas of the park. Refer to attached Invasive Species Prevention measures in the supplementary conditions to the standard agreement foradditional information on mitigating the spread of invasive weeds. Metro intends to award the contract to a single firm. The term of the contractis anticipated to be June 2022 through November 2022.
