C-0572-0026 PHASE 1 SCI Huntingdon - Base Bid No. 1: - Building 6: Removal of existing underground fuel storage tanks and all associated piping and day tanks. Demo existing generator and associated ductwork, piping, and louvers, exhaust systems. Remove existing steam unit heaters and piping to accommodate new equipment. New heating system to support the electrical switchgear arrangement. - Building 73: New HVAC system to condition switchgear room. New fuel storage tank, piping, ductwork, exhaust system and louvers for new generators. 2. Base Bid No. 2: - Same as Base Bid #1 with additional work associated with the Tier 4 diesel generator. 3. Base Bid No. 3: - Same as Base Bid #2 ESTIMATED RANGE: .2 HVAC - $700,000 - $800,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES = (.2) $220.00 per day. There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project. Projects located at any Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Facilities listed on the Department's January 24. 2022, and March 25, 2022, Notices must continue to follow the "Interim Final Rule COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements" and deadlines. Projects at all Non-CMS Facilities are encouraged to follow COVID-19 vaccination requirements. Guidelines and site access requirements vary per site, and some agencies may have more stringent requirements which will be noted in their project's Notice to Bidders. The Department of General Services Public Works and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. However, BDISBO did not set SDB and/or VBE participation goals for those procurements that are less than the $400,000 threshold required to set either goal. In addition, there will be no points allocated toward SDB/SB participation for this procurement. This is a significant programmatic change from the SDB and SB Participation program contained in prior Projects issued by Public Works. Bidders now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals.
