A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: In accordance with Section 103D-304, HRS, the Department of Transportation (DOT), Airports Division seeks the services of qualified engineering firms to provide design services for the Replacement of Runway MALSR Lighting and Related Systems, Kalaeloa Airport, Project No. AO5024-02R. These services are anticipated to be immediately required, and will have a design contract completion time of approximately three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The contract will be a Fixed-price contract in accordance with HAR 3-122-136, with an overall contract time of performance of three (3) years. The project scope includes the replacement of the existing Medium Intensity Approach Lighting System with Runway Alignment Indicator Lights (MALSR), Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPI), and the Airfield Lighting Control & Monitoring System (ALCMS), at the Kalaeloa Airport.
