Site work for a water / sewer project in Avon Park, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purposes of this solicitation is to award a contract to a pool of qualified contractors in support of the District's Abandoned Artesian Well Plugging Cooperative Cost Sharing Program by permanently abandoning wells. The well plugging services prevents the contamination of water, the uncontrolled flow of water from wells and prevents inter-aquifer flow of water through well bores. This work shall be performed in accordance with Chapter 40C-3, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C) and Chapter 373, Florida Statutes (F.S.).
