Project: Buboltz Road from County Road WW south to Hoffman Road, approximately one (1) mile. Proposed Improvement: Pulverize, reclaim, grade and compact the existing asphalt pavement roadway, approximately 12,320 square yards. Construction of asphalt surface-add 4"of asphaltic paving, 2 1/4 " of 3LT 58-28S and 1 3/4 " of 4LT 58-28S, shape and compact, approximately 12,320 square yards. Install 2 foot aggregate left and right shoulders, approximately 10,560 linear feet. Completion of Work: This project will be completed by October 31, 2022. The project asphalt needs to be laid within 7 days of compaction. Bid Rejection: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the Town of Maple Creek. Bid Security: If the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract, performance/payment bonds and insurance certification, as required by the contract documents, within ten days after the Notice of Award. Withdrawal of Bids: No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the Owner. The work under this contract consists of pulverizing of the existing roadway, final grading and compacting of pulverized roadway, construction of asphalt surface, and placement of crushed aggregate shoulders.
