The New Canaan Public Schools is seeking flooring replacement at East Elementary School and Saxe Middle school. Scope of Work Contractor to furnish labor and material to complete the above referenced projects as outlined below. All flooring materials for both projects to be purchased by contractor off of CT State Contract# 20PSX0088. Quantities below are an estimate only. Quantities for both projects to be provided by Contractor. East Elementary School Floor preparation as needed to level floor and fill all cracks and holes Furnish and install new 2.5mm LVT (Hallways), 4mm LVT (Cafeteria) and 2.03 mm (Nurse Room) Furnish and install new 1/8" gauge 4" vinyl cove base Remove and dispose of all debris; Dumpster provided by NCPS Moisture Mitigate & Self level area with Mapei VS & Novoplan 2 plus grade 1/8" on Furnish and install any applicable transitions LVT to be installed in all areas throughout the school (Hallways - first floor; Nurse Room first floor and Cafeteria - first floor. Hallways: 1st Floor: approx. 8360 sq. ft.; Nurse Room: approx. 560 sq. ft.; Cafeteria: approx. 3,350 sq. ft. The contractor selected for the above project(s) shall be required to enter into a contract with the NCPS. Such contract shall require the posting of performance and payment bonds, the submittal of insurance certificates and the compliance with Federal, State and Local Laws and ordinances. Proposal surety in the form of a bank check, bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total RFP price must be submitted with each proposal. The New Canaan Public Schools reserves the right in its sole discretion to accept or reject, without prejudice, any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities therein, or to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of New Canaan Public Schools.
