All wages paid for work under this Contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri, Sec 290.210 et seq., R.S. Mo., as amended by the Division of Labor Standards, State of Missouri and regulations promulgated by the Division of Labor. For any contract for services greater than $5,000, the successful bidder shall comply with 285.530, RSMo, as amended, and (1) provide by sworn affidavit affirmation that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien and (2) provide documentation affirming its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with this contract. The required documentation affirming enrollment must be from the federal work authorization program provider. Letter from respondent reciting compliance is not sufficient. All bids should include the signed and notarized Work Authorization Affidavit and the electronic signature page from the E-Verify program. Letter from Contractor reciting compliance is not sufficient. 0 The scope of work for this project includes various types of intersection improvements to improve roadway and sidewalk safety including but not limited to, traffic calming and pedestrian islands, raised and standard crosswalks, ADA improvements, drainage and grading, minor pavement repairs, and other incidental and line-item work as determined by the Engineer. The work will be prescribed through individual Job Orders negotiated between the Contractor and the City on an as needed basis at each work location. The Engineer reserves the right to have others (including City forces) perform some or all of the work at individual locations based on the needs of the City. The Engineer reserves the right to have others (including City forces) perform some or all of the work at individual locations based on the needs of the City. A contract will be issued in the form of a 15-month term contract with four (4) optional one-year term renewals. The City reserves the right to renew this contract for four (4) additional one-year renewal terms. The cutoff for any questions pertaining to this bid is Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 3:00 P.M., CST.
