The Rialto Unified School District (RUSD) is seeking bids for Bid No. 21-22-012 HVAC Units to replace existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units for multiple portable buildings across the District. The bid request is for the units only and the District shall install the units through its Maintenance and Operations (M&O) service area. Any questions regarding bid documents should be directed to Ricardo G. Salazar, Agent: Purchasing Services, at (909) 873-4326 ext. 2114, or reduced to writing and emailed to purchasing@rialtousd.org no later than 04:00 p.m. PST. on June 15, 2022. Tentative Contract Award Date July 13, 2022 TERM OF AGREEMENT. The term of the Agreement is one (1) year. The Agreement may be extended upon mutual written consent of District and successful bidder for an additional two (2) one-year periods. Price increases may be negotiated at the time of renewal however any price increase shall be at the sole discretion of the District. The maximum term of the Agreement is three (3) years. Time is of the essence. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bid evaluation process. No bidder may withdraw any bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for the opening of the bids.
