A. Provide all management, supervision, labor, material, equipment, consumables, and supplies required to provide asphalt repairs. The Work under this Project consists of: 1. The James City County Wanner Stadium located at 4900 Stadium Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188 (See Attachment B). The Contractor shall coordinate with the County’s Capital Projects Coordinator to develop a schedule for this work. All pavement markings shall be restored to existing conditions. 2. Contractor to demo and dispose of existing deteriorated pavement to a depth of 4“(Approximately 876 SY). Saw cutting of pavement will occur at all joints. Work consists of approximately 30 separate patches throughout the front and back parking lot. 3. Contractor to place 4” of SM 9.5A asphalt in all patching areas. 4. All work and materials are to comply with the most recent edition of the HRPDC. 5. See Attachment C ‘Typical Deteriorated Pavement Repair Procedure’ for details. 6. Contractor will coordinate all work schedules with the Capital Projects Coordinator. Work will be scheduled to provide minimal impact to the public’s use of the facility. 7. Contractor to provide traffic control measures, as necessary. B. Under no circumstances will the contract extend more than 30-days past the Notice to Proceed. C. These documents are not intended to be all-inclusive of the safety, codes, and regulatory requirements mandated by Federal, State, and local governments and regulatory agencies. All Contractors shall conform to all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the following: 1. Virginia Department of Labor, Virginia Occupational Safety, and Health (VOSH) regulations. 2. Virginia Department of Transportation – Road and Bridge Standards. 3. Manual on Uniformed Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual. D. All work shall be completed within 30 calendar days from the start date indicated in the Notice to Proceed; however, once the work starts, it shall be worked continuously until satisfactory completion. E. Vendors shall submit a lump sum price for a complete turnkey job as described in the Scope of Work. F. All vendors shall be properly licensed by the Commonwealth of VA. All vendor site supervisors assigned to this project shall have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar work. A qualified site supervisor shall be on site at all times during the Work. All questions will be answered via an addendum.
