All Questions must be submitted in writing, by Email to dmpantel@ncsu.edu NO PHONE CALLS ACCEPTED. This RFQ is for vendor pre-qualification for providing tree services. Awards will cover a 1-year time period with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods. The University anticipates awards to multiple vendors. The purpose of this RFQ is to pre-qualify vendors to supply services for tree work but are not limited to (tree removals, tree pruning, tree treatments, and tree ground cover) to the NC State University Campus in Raleigh, NC for general campus landscaping purposes. This RFQ process will result in award (of pre-qualified status) to a single or multiple vendors who meet the attached specifications/requirements. After awards are made, each time tree services are needed, the University's representative will, if applicable, request pricing, associated shipping costs, and lead times from all of the qualified vendors using the vendorsupplied email addresses (see #3 Vendor Requirements below). Vendors will be required to respond to quote requests within 48 hours in order for their quotation to be considered. Services will typically be required within 2 weeks of request. However, specific service requirements shall be defined for each order and will be communicated to the qualified vendors in the request for pricing. The University will issue a purchase order based on cost and/or availability of product, when applicable. The University reserves the right to request a not-to-exceed cost for each order. No service orders are guaranteed to any vendor as a result of this solicitation.
