The purpose of this solicitation is to establish specifications and solicit bids for the hauling of accumulated ground yard waste (mulch) From the Wilmington Island Drop-Off Center to a specified private facility. The yard waste collected and ground by the County includes: grass clippings, leaves, tree trimmings, limbs and other vegetative material. Price charged for this service will be all-inclusive (no haul or pull fee, fuel charges) and will be priced "per truck load". The County reserves the right to inspect contractors' Tandem Dump Trucks before award of contract is issued. Contractor will have at a minimum of 5 years of verifiable industry hauling and dispatching experience. This solicitation will result in a not to exceed $115,000 contract at the per truck load cost.
