LRWRA is soliciting assistance from qualified engineering firms for professional engineering services involving the development of a solids handling masterplan. The scope and services for this project will include: -Evaluate methods to enhance lagoon solids capture to improve the land application process and flexibility -Evaluate the current and potential methods for cost savings associated with hauling and land application, to include revenue producing opportunities -Evaluate solids processing and transportation via trucking from Little Maumelle Water Reclamation Facility (LMWRF) to Fourche Creek Water Reclamation Facility (FCWRF) -Evaluate options for receiving LMWRF hauled solids at FCWRF in incorporation to the digester feed system -Evaluate the existing conveyance system for transporting solids from Adams Field Water Reclamation Facility (AFWRF) to FCWRF oProvide an opinion considering future biosolids regulations and how to plan for these future regulations - Contract may be amended to include design, bidding, and construction phase services Requests and inquiries from minority and women owned enterprises (MBE/WBE) are encouraged. Contacting by email is preferred so that the RFQ package can be sent electronically. The RFQ package includes descriptions of services required, an outline for presentation of qualifications, and the method of selection. The selection process will conform to the state law defining procurement of professional services, A.C.A. 19-11-801.
