Ellis County Kansas is accepting Request for Proposals (RFP) to remodel a small portion of the entry/reception area of the Ellis County Health Department located at 2507 Canterbury Drive, Hays Kansas. The project proposal shall include all services to complete the project to include electrical and construction services, consulting with Ellis County IT staff for network needs, working with an HVAC technician to replace three rooftop HVAC units as a bid alternate, to provide a final fully function remodeled space. All work must comply with local city building codes, permitting, and any applicable state or federal laws. Due to state grant requirements, which are helping fund this project, the project must be completed by October 19th, 2022. However, as part of the bid alternate, the HVAC may not be able to be completed by this timeframe due to backorders. This project, since bid separate, can be extended beyond the October 19 th deadline.
