Renovation of a museum in Saratoga Springs, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

As of August 23, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. CR Number: 2087569 This General Construction project involves selective site and building demolition/removals; site improvements including reinforced concrete foundations and paving; landscaping work; building repair work including stone, cast stone and terra-cotta masonry cleaning and repairs; door hardware replacement; stucco repairs; painting; and other exterior building finish work at the historic Lincoln Bathhouse at Saratoga Spa State Park. Aggregate repairs included in General Construction Contract, to be distributed throughout the Work Area where and as approved by the Director's Representative, including all required and associated cutting and patching as required, labor, materials and equipment: Repointing Joints in Stone and Cast Stone Masonry: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 75 lineal feet of stone veneer joint repointing of existing joints. This area figure is based on actual face area (exposure) of stone veneer wall surface. See Section 04 0140 - Stone and Cast Stone Masonry Restoration. Repointing Joints in Terra-Cotta Masonry: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 100 linear feet of terra-cotta joint repointing to match existing joint mortar at glazed terra-cotta. See Section 04 0142 - Terra-Cotta Masonry Restoration. Terrace Coping Stone Replacement: The General Construction Contract shall include removal and resetting of sill/coping stones at Terrace, including replacement of 46 total lineal feet of edge/sill coping stones - acid washed pink marble, 2-3/4" thick by 13-3/4" wide - to match existing stonework configuration (including cutting, patching, anchoring and coring as required). This length figure is based on actual top face area (exposure) of stone surface. See Section 04 0140 - Stone and Cast Stone Restoration. Terrace Paving Stone Removal and Resetting: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 688 square feet of stone paver and polymeric sand setting bed and joint removal and resetting/reinstallation, as well as replacement of (60) Field pavers: acid washed pink marble, 15/16" thick, 12" by 12" with chamfered corners cut to receive 3" x 3" diamond accents, and (12) "diamond shaped" accent stones: green marble, 1-3/8" thick, 3" by 3" to match existing stone work. This area figure is based on actual face area (exposure) of stone surface. See Section 04 0140 - Stone and Cast Stone Masonry Restoration. Abandoned Anchor Removal: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 12 existing anchors removal (cutting and patching). See Section 04 0140 - Stone and Cast Stone Masonry Restoration. Anchor Removal and Replacement: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 12 existing stone anchors removal and replacement (cutting and patching) at Terraces. This area figure is based on actual face area (exposure) of terrace surface. See Section 04 0140 - Stone and Cast Stone Masonry Restoration. Crack Injection Repairs: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 4 lineal feet of stone crack injection repairs. This area figure is based on actual face area (exposure) of stone surface. See Section 04 0140 - Stone and Cast Stone Masonry Restoration. Partial Stone Replacement (Dutchman Repairs): The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 4 square feet of stone to match existing stone in type, coloration, general mix of face sizes, bond pattern and mortar jointing (including cutting and patching as required) at existing stone walls where veneer stones are missing. This area figure is based on actual face area (exposure) of stone veneer wall surface See Section 04 0140 - Stone and Cast Stone Restoration. Patching Stone Units: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 2 square feet of stone patch repairs to match existing stones. This figure is based on actual face area (exposure) of stone. See Section 04 0140 - Stone and Cast Stone Masonry Restoration. Patching/Replicating Decorative Cast Stone Features: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 4 square feet of terra-cotta patch repairs to match existing cast stone decorative features, such as at engaged column capitals. This figure is based on actual face area (exposure) of stone. See Section 04 0140 - Stone and Cast Stone Masonry Restoration. Stucco Restoration/Patch Repairs: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 450 square feet of stucco restoration/patching per Drawings. See Section 09 2400 - Stucco Restoration. Stucco Crack Repairs: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 300 linear feet of stucco crack repairs per Drawings. See Section 09 2400 - Stucco Restoration. Patching Terra-Cotta: The General Construction Contract shall include an aggregate total of 2 square feet of terra-cotta patch repairs to match existing glazed terra-cotta. This figure is based on actual face area (exposure) of terra-cotta. See Section 04 0142 - Terra-Cotta Masonry Restoration. Windowsill Joints Between Terra-cotta Masonry Units: Where indicated and as required within the work area, rake out and aggregate total of 80 LF of deteriorated mortar in stone windowsill joints within the work area and reseal with type 2b sealant. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 23% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 7% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: 300 Days Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of: General Construction Contract General Construction Historic Rehabilitation; Refer to Section 01 1000 "Summary of the Work" D006004 $21,217.00 Twenty-One Thousand Two Hundred Seventeen and 00/100 Dollars Engineer's Estimated Range: $379,000.00 - $512,000.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
