The Services to Be Provided Under This Proposal and the Resulting Contract Include the Furnishing of Solid Waste Containers, Recycling Containers, and Collection of Residential Solid Waste, Recyclables, Yard Trimmings and White Goods on a Specific Day Each Week, 52 Weeks Per Year and Other Necessary Items and Services Related to Residential Refuse Collection. Any Special Conditions Applicable to the Requested Services Are Contained in the Proposal Packet. All Services Performed and Materials Provided Must Be Performed and Provided in Accordance With All State, County and City Standards. Proposers Are Required to Submit a Proposal Bond, or a Certified Check Made Payable to the City of Grayson in the Amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00). The Proposal Bond or Certified Check Must Be Enclosed in the Envelope With the Sealed Proposal. The Successful Proposer(S) Will Be Required to Furnish a Contract Performance Bond in the Amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00). The City of Grayson Will Award the Contract to Either a Single Qualified Proposer or a Qualified Recycling Proposer and a Qualified Refuse Proposer Subject to the City's Right to Reject Any and All Proposals, to Waive Technicalities, Irregularities and/or Informalities and to Make an Award Deemed in the Best Interest of the Citizens of Grayson. Price Shall Not Be the Sole Consideration in Awarding the Contract.
