Provide replacement fire rated apartment wood doors or metal common area doors, on an as needed basis, for the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee HUD and LLC properties. Any catalog, brand names, numbers, features , manufacturers and specifications reference used in describing an item is merely descriptive purposes only and are intended to reflect a level of quality and capability desired. They are not intended to limit competition and Bidders are encouraged to submit bids on comparable models that possess the same quality and capability specified. The items listed below are representative of items that may be ordered and the pricing will be used for bid evaluation and award purposes. Items purchased will not, however, be limited to this listing. All doors must conform to the current Milwaukee Building Code. This contract will be effective June 23, 2022 through June 22, 2023, with the option to extend for an additional four - one year terms upon mutual consent of both parties. Prices to be firm for one year after which an escalator may be invoked upon request and verification of a letter from the supplier and/or published price sheets. Such request must be made at least sixty (60) days in advance of the effective date of the increase. Price shall be based on product cost only and not exceed 15% of the firm bid price during the contract period. The Housing Authority Procurement office prior to its effective date must approve the increase.
