Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Somerville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The scope of the project includes approximately 1,800 linear feet of concrete/granite curb, 750 square yards of sidewalk, 13,500 square yards of HMA milling, and 2,200 tons of hot mix asphalt surface course, 250 linear feet of 12" drainage pipe, 6 new drainage structures, replacement inlet castings and related improvements; all in accordance with the form of proposal Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to Somerville Borough Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract. Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Somerville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the proposal received and to accept the bid in which in their judgment will best serve the interest of the Borough.
