The Township is undertaking a Master Servicing Study which will encompass water, sanitary linear infrastructure, and all stormwater infrastructure. As well, an analysis of the existing transportation network in currently served areas and requirements for additions to the transportation network in residential and ICI development in the defined Settlement Boundaries of Long Sault and Ingleside. The Township is seeking the services of qualified respondents to provide technical expertise and to support components of development for these areas.
Furthermore, the Township is seeking to create and implement a Capacity Allocation Policy consistent with Provincial legislation which will strategically allocate and provide process to redistribute available water and wastewater capacity to both residential and ICI developments within the settlement boundaries. The proposed growth has identified a need to have engineering and planning support to assist the Township in its desire to ensure developments meet the Township's design guidelines and do not conflict with the Township's Community Strategic Plan. The contract documents may be obtained digitally commencing on Monday, June 6th, 2022 by contacting the Public Works Coordinator noted below. The Township of South Stormont, at its own discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any compliant or non-compliant proposals and advises that the lowest or any proposal will not necessarily be accepted. Questions will be received until 11:59 PM on Monday June 20th, 2022 and shall be sent in writing to the Director of Public Works. The Township reserves the right to distribute any and all questions (anonymously) and answers pertaining to this RFP by addenda. The final addendum, if applicable, will be issued on Thursday June 23rd, 2022. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
