Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Lost Nation, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work in general consists of construction of a new public water supply well and well house located within the City of Lost Nation, Iowa. Preference of Products and Labor. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, to the extent lawfully required under Iowa statutes. American Iron and Steel (AIS) provisions apply to this project. This project requires federal prevailing wage rates. Davis-Bacon wage rates apply to this project. At a minimum, the awarded contractor will be required to submit each employee's self-certified income (for those working on the project) to the CDBG administrator to meet Section 3 requirements. Est. Value: $ 518,293.00. Bids will be considered by the City Council at its regular meeting at 6:30 P.M. on July 11, 2022, at City Hall, 410 Main Street, Lost Nation, Iowa. The City of Lost Nation reserves the right to reject any and all bids. liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions at the rate of six hundred dollars ($600) for each working day
