Renovation of a mixed-use development in Stoneville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Custom BT. Bar Roofing Base Bid 1 975000 Bar Roofing Base Bid 2 1125000 Removal and disposal of the existing roof down to the concrete and lightweight gypsum roof deck and installation of new mechanically and adhered thermal insulation, adhered 1/2-inch insulation protection layer, and adhered thermoplastic membrane. Total roof area is approximately 270 squares. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond of five percent (5%) of Bid executed by a Surety Company licensed under the laws of North Carolina conditioned that the Surety will, upon demand, forthwith make payment to obligee upon said Bid Bond if Bidder fails to execute Contract in accordance with Bid Bond. Said Bid Bond shall be claimed by Owner as liquidated damages in event of failure of the successful Bidder to execute Contract within ten (10) days after Award or to give satisfactory surety as required by law. Bidder shall identify in his/her Bid Proposal the minority business participation it will use on Project, Identification of Minority Business Participation form and shall include either Affidavit A or Affidavit B as applicable. Forms and instructions are included within Proposal Form in Bid Documents. Failure to complete these forms is grounds for rejection of the Bid. (GS143-128.2c Effective 1/1/2002.) All Bidders are hereby notified that they must have proper licensing as required under State laws governing their respective trades. General contractors are notified that Chapter 87, Article 1, General Statutes of North Carolina, will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts. General contractors submitting Bids on this Project must have proper license classification. NOTE: Under GS 87-1, a Contractor that superintends or manages construction of any building, highway, public utility, grading, structure or improvement shall be deemed a "general contractor" and shall be so licensed; therefore, a single prime project that involves other trades will require the single prime contractor to hold a proper General Contractors license. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of Contract price if total Contract sum equals or exceeds fifty thousand dollars ($50,000). The Owner reserves the right to reject the Contractor's measurement of work-in-place that involves use of established unit prices, and to have this work measured, at the Owner's expense, by an independent surveyor acceptable to the Contractor.
