Renovation of a water / sewer project in Apollo Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The owner has selected a Design Builder. provide Design-Build services for the Tampa Bay Desalination Facility Intake Connection Improvements Phase 2 Project. This project includes the design, permitting, and construction of a new seawater intake pump station, electrical building, 54-inch diameter fiberglass reinforced plastic piping and associated appurtenances for Tampa Bay Water's Desalination Facility located on Tampa Electric Company's (TECO) Big Bend Power Plant site. Tampa Bay Water's intent in developing this Request for Proposals is to encourage qualified firms to provide the best solution for the Project within the parameters of Tampa Bay Water's requirements as described herein and consistent with the project goals as described within the Basis of Design Report, Technical Specifications, and Part VI - Scope of Services. Tampa Bay Water expects to enter into an agreement utilizing its Construction Contract (Sample Attached) with a Design-Build entity for this Project.
