Site work for a water / sewer project in Warrenton, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Warrenton is accepting bids from qualified, Class A contractors to provide construction services to retrofit the existing stormwater management pond on Garrett Street. This will include the excavation of the existing pond bottom and creation of settling basin, channel meander, stilling basin and landscaping as shown on the contract drawings. Performance and payment bonds with a value of 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful contractor (if the contract amount is over $100,000) prior to commencing work. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive all informalities. In the event the Town Manager chooses to reject all bids, the Town will re-advertise or make the purchase on the open market. The Town, through its duly adopted policies, may reject any or all bids.
