Renovation of an educational facility in Gulfport, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

RFP No. 1605AE-24-R-00003 || Design-Build Renovations and Mold Remediations for Magnolia Hall at the Gulfport Job Corps Center in Gulfport, MS The work includes, but is not limited to, design-build construction for mold remediation, interior demolition and renovations, HVAC system, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm system upgrades and window replacement. The work will also include coordination with the Job Corps Data Center (JCDC) for security, data, and communication upgrades. In accordance with FAR 19.8, this requirement is being procured as an 8(a) Competitive Set-Aside. The NAICS for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $45 Million. An organized pre-proposal conference and site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday 3/27/2024 at 10:00 AM Central. Attendees will meet at the Gulfport Job Corps Center, 3300 20th Street, Gulfport, MS 39501. RFP questions are due by Monday 4/1/2024 at 2:00 PM Eastern. Proposals are due by Thursday 4/25/2024 at 2:00 PM Eastern. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. 9 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION Per FAR 36.204, "Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects," the estimated magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $5 Million and $10 Million. No questions will be answered during the Site Visit. All questions must be submited in writing via email in accordance with the instructions in this provision. Each question shall be sent via email to giardino.emily.m@doj.gov and eschels.barbara.a@dol.gov. Clearly specify the solicitation area (page, paragraph, etc.) to which the question refers. Questions shall be received no later than Monday, April 1, 2024 (2:00 PM Eastern).
