Demolition and site work for a residential development in Thorndale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The successful Bidder who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay a fee in accordance with their established fee schedule. Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days Bids will be reviewed and publicly announced at the regular meeting of the Caln Township Board of Commissioners meeting of July 14, 2022 at 7:30 PM. The work generally consists of complete demolition of the designated structure (including foundation), cutting and capping existing utilities, off-site disposal of all demolition debris, removal and disposal of all remaining hazardous, non-hazardous, universal waste, electronic scrap and appliances materials, and complete restoration of all areas disturbed during this demolition project. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages CALN TOWNSHIP reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof and to accept any Bids, which in its judgment is for the best interest of the Township.
