**As of April 15, 2024, the project was awarded to VMJR Companies, LLC in the amount of $9,353,000.00.** The replacement of the roof at Albany City Hall Bid Alternate No. 1 work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: o Base Bid: Existing historic masonry-built roofs to remain. o Alternate: Remove sealant and residue at masonry roofing as indicated in Section 040310 "Historic Stone Masonry Cleaning," and provide stone masonry repairs and 100% repointing at masonry-built roofs as specified in Section 040342 "Historic Stone Masonry Repair" and Section 040343 "Historic Stone Masonry Repointing," respectively, and as indicated on Drawings Bid Alternate No. 2 work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: o Base Bid: Existing sheet metal roofs to remain. o Alternate: Remove existing copper flat-lock and standing seam roofing and provide new sheet metal roofing as specified in Section 076100 "Sheet Metal Roofing," and provide custom-fabricated clay finial as specified in Section 073213 "Clay Tile Roofing" and as indicated on Drawings.
