Project Details. The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of the traffic signal installation and related utility's location services, maintenance of traffic, conduit and electrical runs, sidewalk and pavement and site restoration, demolition, and other required civil work related to the Hollywood Boulevard / 26th Avenue Mast Arms Replacement. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Said security shall be in the form of a Certified Check or Cashier's Check on a solvent National or State Bank, or a bid bond executed by the Bidder and a qualified Surety, satisfactory and payable to the City of Hollywood, Florida. A Cone of Silence is in effect with respect to this bid. The Cone of Silence prohibits certain communications between potential vendors and the City. For further information, please refer to Section 30.15(F) of the City's Code of Ordinances. The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to accept or reject all or any part of any bid, as they may deem to be in the best interest of the City of Hollywood, Florida.
