The City of Mission is accepting bids for the Ready Mix Concrete for Public Works Department and Parks and Recreation Department. It is the intention of these specifications to describe a Ready Mix Concrete for the placement of sidewalks, curb and gutters, inlets, manholes and small concrete foundations/pads to various locations throughout the City of Mission. The unit price bid for this material shall be quoted per cubic yard. Delivery orders will be of 5 cubic yards minimum and up to 10 cubic yards. Delivery: Shall be in approved vehicles of a uniform capacity, and it shall be the responsibility of the bidder that the required amount of specified material be delivered to various locations throughout the City of Mission, Texas, within twenty-four (24) hours of the order being placed. Delivery quantities will be a minimum of 5 cubic yards to a maximum of 10+ cubic yards on an as needed basis. Ready Mix Concrete as follows: o Class of concrete: "A" o Design strength: Minimum 28 days (PSI): 3000 o Max W/C ratio: 0.60 o Coarse aggregate grades: 1-4, 8 o Estimated annual usage for Public Works: Approximately 350 cubic yards per year o Estimated annual usage for Parks and Recreation: Approximately 75 cubic yards per year
