The COUNTY OF SONOMA ("County") hereby gives notice that it will accept Bids for construction of the following public work: Taylor Mountain - Phase 2 Trails located on Petaluma Hill Road, in Sonoma County. The work will consist of, but not be limited to, the construction of approximately 27,000 linear feet of full bench cut trail and associated features and the installation of five (5) pedestrian bridges and one (1) vehicular bridge. Anyone interested in responding to this invitation to bid must be on the approved pre-qualified Contractor list (the result of a Public Request for Qualifications), provide contractor's license, Department of Industrial Relations number(s) and expiration date. At the time this contract is awarded, the Contractor, and any other subcontractor performing work at the job site, shall possess a valid and current California State contractor's license and be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Proposers must submit one (1) electronic copy to the County of Sonoma's Supplier Portal. Hard copy, facsimile, and/or emailed submissions will not be accepted. Bidders shall refer to Document 00200 (Instructions to Bidders) for required documents and items to be submitted electronically.
Questions shall be submitted in writing to Project Manager, Mark.Cleveland@sonoma-county.org no later than June 16, 2022. Answers shall be posted via Addendum ono June 21, 2022. REQUIRED CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE(S) and PRE QUALIFICATIONS. A California "Type A" General Engineering contractor's license is required to Bid this Contract and through the completion of the project as well as listing on the Sonoma County Regional Parks Trail Construction Contractor Prequalified List.
